YLP 101:
Youth Learning Programs (YLP) at Temple Israel aim to engage students in thoughtful exploration of Jewish faith & culture. Students in grades PreK through 7th grade attend Sundays. Wednesday afternoon sessions are added for grades 3-6 to further explore their Hebrew knowledge. Students take part in the B-Mitzvah process starting in 5th grade with the selection of their Torah Portion/dates, which most often occur in the 7th grade year. Hebrew High meets Wednesday evenings for grades 8-12.

B-Mitzvah Celebration:
We encourage all our families, no matter your grade, to join our B-Mitzvah students to support them as they lead Shabbat services. The best way to learn about this incredible life cycle event is to join the congregation as a participant!
