TEMPLE TOTS!

Temple Tot programming provides an array of opportunities for our youngest community members and their families. The intention here is to provide a warm and welcoming place for families with children 0-4 to meet one another, socialize, and learn together - even if Temple is not yet considered home. Many of our tot families include older siblings who are always welcome to join us in the fun! Our current line-up involves the following:

Temple Tots - typically the 1st Sunday of the month during the school year

(The next Temple Tots will be on April 21 with a Passover experience instead of April 14 - Link to RSVP here, May 5)

Our tots (any kids younger than PreK) and their families are invited for games, stories, crafts, and learning together starting at 10 am. We often meet indoors, but if the weather behaves we try to utilize our outdoor space as well. This group meets while our older kids (preK thru 7th grade) are learning in the education wing. Tot Shabbat - typically the 3rd Friday of the month

(April 12, May 17

Join the Temple Tots Team for our monthly Tot Shabbat! Our entire program takes place in Temple's social hall where typically we braid our own challah, celebrate Shabbat with a brief service including songs and stories, with dinner and kids activities to follow. If dinner at 6:30 pm is too late for your family, you can pick up your challah and head home for bedtime.

This program will be geared toward families with children ages 2-5, but families with babies are welcome to join for the adult conversations and your entire family (older siblings, grandparents, cousins, etc) is welcome to join in the Shabbat experience!

Friday, April 12, 2024 - "doors open" at 5:30 pm; program runs 5:45-7 pm

For this month's Tot Shabbat, we're going on Safari! Join our Temple Tot Team for a VERY SPECIAL Wildlife Adventure. Our entire program will take place in Temple's social hall where families will:

--decorate a Safari vest while we wait for all our friends to join (5:30-5:45 pm)
--visit with our special animal guests from Wildlife Encounters (5:45-6:30 pm)
--celebrate Shabbat with song (6:30-6:40 pm)
--eat Shabbat dinner together (6:40-7 pm)

This evening's special programming and dinner catered by Chipotle has been made possible thanks to the Foundation IMPACT grant of the Jewish Federation of Omaha Foundation. We are now asking that families contribute $10 PER HOUSEHOLD towards dinner. Please let us know if finances are a barrier to participation.

This program will be geared toward families with children ages 2-5, but families with babies are welcome to join for the adult conversations and your entire family (older siblings, grandparents, cousins, etc) is welcome to join in the Shabbat experience!

Temple's Tiniest Tots are looking for more friends. This drop-in playgroup is organized by Tori Haussler and Baby Ari! If you are home with littles during the weekday and are looking for community connections (and/or adult interaction)… stop by and hang out when you are able! We are currently looking for times that accommodate as many people as possible. If you are interested in participating and would like to be notified of dates, times, and locations, please fill out this form!
