HEBREW HIGH TOMORROW Tomorrow Hebrew High will beĀ at THE JCC FROM *5:30pmĀ TO 7:00pm*Ā for dinner and a program to commemorate the Holocaust. We will watch a short documentary (25 min) called Escape From Treblinka: The Joseph Polinski Story. Joseph Polinski lived in Omaha after the war. Afterwards we will discuss the film and the Holocaust.
Next week we will be at THE JCC AGAIN from 5:30-7:00pm toĀ celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut and join the B'nai B'rith Yom Haāatzmaut Jewish Trivia Quiz.
Inclusive Communities THIS Sunday, April 23rd fromĀ 12:15pm to 2:15pmĀ we will be hosting Inclusive Communities again! Madrichim are expected and every teen is invited and we hope you will be there. Lunch will be served!
MYSTERY BUS TOUR Mark your calendars! We are joining Beth-El for a ~Mystery Bus Tour~. On Sunday, May 7th from 11:00am-6:30pm there will be a mystery tour around town with lots of exciting stuff! (If you are a madrich you are still encouraged to participate - we'll just be late!) More info to come!
JOIN THE MADRICHIMOT TEAM! Our Madrichimot are the student interns for Temple Israel's Youth Learning Programs (YLP). Teens going intoĀ grades 8-12 are eligible to be apart of our Madrichimot. They are important to the success of our program because they support our teachers in the classroom with taking attendance, setting up activities and being role models.
