Welcome to Humans of Temple Israel! This is a program that stems from a photoblog and book of street portraits and interviews collected on the streets of New York City. Started in November 2010 by photographer Brandon Stanton, Humans of New York has developed a large following through social media.

Our program is part of an engagement piece to help us all to connect with each other in a way we have not yet done. We will share a shortened version of what you submit in an issue of our weekly eTidings and link to the full version on our Facebook page. Humans of Temple Israel will also be printed in our print Tidings when space permits.
