A day late and a dollar short but there's still some fun stuff coming up!
HEBREW HIGH TONIGHT!! We will be joined by Beth El this evening and we will be participating in a lesson from Rabbi Appel. We will have a pasta bar for dinner!
Tu b'Shvat is THIS SUNDAY! We're excited for our congregation to join us as we immerse ourselves in Spring and embrace new growth for Tu b’Shvat – a celebration of trees. Our Seder will feature a tasting of the four fruits of Tu b’Shvat, four cups of grape juice, and an exploration of their significance. Our Madrichimot will be helping out with this awesome program!
Calling All Humans of Temple Israel! We want to hear your story and have you represented in our Humans of Temple Israel engagement piece to help us all to connect with each other. Please fill out this form to be apart of it. We especially want to hear from our teens!
Set Me Free Project There will be three parallel sessions presented to middle school students, high school students and parents from 7-8:30PM, starting February 7th , and each of the following Tuesday nights. Registration and information is available here.
We have an amazing teen-only event coming up on Sunday, 2/26 from 2-4. Keep an eye on your email for more information.
Purim is Quickly Approaching! On March 3rd, 2023 there will be a Purim Lock-In for all 8th-12th graders! Starting at 8:00pm we hope you'll join us to help set up the carnival, be the first to play the games, and have some fun. This year the lock-in is the Friday before the carnival, so we will have time to get some more sleep before Sunday. More information will be coming soon, but you can RSVP early.
There are also volunteer opportunities on March 5th during the carnival. Please reach out to Jay if you'd like to participate.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out to Jay Ascher, Director of Youth Engagement at (973) 985 - 7419 or jascher@templeisraelomaha.com
