Book of Legends: Retelling Our Stories (Z)

Stories are key to how we see ourselves as a individuals and as a people. Jewish stories are scattered throughout Jewish texts. The Book of Legends, Sefer Ha-Aggadah, is a comprehensive compendium of classic Hebrew literature gathered from the Talmud and the Midrash. Some of the stories included are well-known, such as Abraham smashing his father's idols. Others are gems waiting to be rediscovered. No prior Jewish learning or knowledge of Hebrew is required.  RSVPs are encouraged. "Walk-ins" are welcome.
