Mitzvah Day: Chai Five For Good Deeds

Sunday, April 28, 2024 20 Nisan 5784

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Mitzvah Day is a chance for you, your family, and our entire Temple Israel community to come together to make a difference and make the world a better place. It’s a day to bring together people of all ages, and backgrounds, to volunteer side-by-side, building longstanding, genuine relationships as they perform acts of loving kindness. This year several of our projects will focus on our building to help commemorate our tenth anniversary of being at 13111 Sterling Ridge Drive. Other projects will be more traditional in nature and reach different parts of the greater Omaha area.

Mitzvah Day has never been more important than it is right now.

If you have children or grandchildren enrolled in YLP, they will be participating in Mitzvah Day during part of their Sunday Morning. We invite you to pick a project and join them at 11 a.m.

  • If you'd like to help out on Mitzvah Day, see the potential projects and let us know you're coming here

You can still order your annual Mitzvah Day Shirt here, however, we can no longer guarantee that they will arrive in time for Mitzvah Day!
