Tri-FAITH UNITY GARDEN & HOPE ORCHARD

In partnership with our Tri-Faith Initiative neighbors, the Tri-Faith Garden brings together people from all faith backgrounds to plant, tend, and harvest fresh produce for local food pantries. The work is physical, joyful, and collaborative — and the results are tangible. The garden has continuously donated over 6,000 pounds per season of produce to metro area food pantries, including the Intercultural Senior Center, Countryside Community Church, and many others as we partner together to help alleviate food insecurity.

No gardening experience is necessary. If you enjoy being outdoors, meeting new people, and giving back in a direct way, this is for you. Whether you want to be in the trenches or keep your hands clean, there’s a task for everyone (even our B-Mitzvah students!).

Tasks include:

  • Bug Patrol
  • Check Supplies (Bottled Water, Gloves, Snacks)
  • Computer Skills (Sign-Up Genius, Website Updates, etc).
  • Delivering Produce to Pantries
  • Harvesting
  • Labeling
  • Organize clam shells/produce bags (Year-Round)
  • Organize/Catalogue Seeds
  • Organize and Archive Photos
  • Pick Up Supplies and Donations
  • Plant Seeds Indoors
  • Plant Seeds Outdoors
  • Pull Weeds
  • Record Volunteer Hours and Accomplishments
  • Spread Mulch and Top Soil
  • Structure and Tie Plants
