Torah Cantillation Class (IP)
Begins Wednesday, July 17, 7 p.m.
Ever wonder how Torah readers know what to chant—or how to chant it? In this engaging 8-week course, you'll learn the fundamentals of Ta'ameh Mikrah, the system of marks (often called “trope”) that guide both the musical phrasing and grammatical meaning of Torah text.
Whether you're preparing for an adult B’nai Mitzvah, dreaming of reading Torah someday, or simply curious about how it all works, this class is for you.
Open to all learners who can read Hebrew. No musical background is required—just a willingness to sing out loud, embrace the learning process, and maybe laugh at a squiggle or two along the way!
This class is free to attend, but please RSVP by July 10.
