Join via Zoom. Osi Sladek, a child survivor of the Holocaust, will be speaking with our teens on April 7. Osi’s story is powerful: at the age of 7, he was forced to wear a yellow star and spent his childhood hiding from the Nazis before making aliyah to Israel and eventually settling in Denver. We encourage you to invite your teens to read his story here and come to the Q&A with a question about his experience as a young man, how it has shaped him over time, how he views the world today and/or his relationship with Judaism. Afterwards, the entire community is invited to join the Community Holocaust Commemoration.
