The Racial Justice Initiative is proud to share the next phase of our Racial Justice work. Last year, we embarked on a partnership with Deitra Reiser, Ph.D., Founder of Transform for Equality. Members of our first cohort of her program, Building Racial Stamina in the Jewish Community, addressed our congregation at a special Racial Justice Shabbat last month. Now, members of our congregation will lead the next cohort in this important work, and we want you to join us! This eight-week series of facilitated workshops aims to dismantle racism by building racial stamina, defined as the resolve to “engage and persist in conversations and work that furthers racial justice – especially when the work causes discomfort.” Please fill out the brief survey below if you are interested in participating.
